Black Howler Monkey
The black howler monkey, known as the baboon or saraguate in Belize, is the
largest monkey in Belize and one of the largest in the Americas. They can be
found throughout Central and South america's forest regions. Due to hunting
and habitat destruction, the black howler monkey has become endangered, except
in Belize, where there remains a large, healthy population.
