Description: The snow sheep of northern Siberia are closely related to the thinhorn and bighorn sheep of North America, more so than they are related to the argali or urial of the central Asian highlands. These sheep are divided into several subspecies which inhabit various mountain ranges in northeastern Siberia. They graze in the alpine meadows and retreat to the rocky highlands when threatened

Siberian Snow Sheep
The snow sheep of northern Siberia are closely related to the thinhorn and
bighorn sheep of North America, more so than they are related to the argali or
urial of the central Asian highlands. These sheep are divided into several
