Giant
In most myths and legends, giants are enemies of the gods! For example: Norse
mythology (Norse giants are also called Jotuns; they live in Jotunheim; we
humans live in Asgard), Greek mythology (in Greek mythology they are actually
called gigants and they have snake tails instead of legs) and Christian
folklore too! In Christian folklore, people said giants survived the flood
and in Norse mythology it is said they actually lived before the gods. But of
course we know the giants from fairy tales... like the "giant" under the
bridge (sometimes told as a troll or wolf under the bridge) and the most
famous, "Jack and the Beanstalk".
