Description: Found in parts of Kenya, the Congo Basin, East Africa and West Africa. They are the largest of the forest antelopes and one of the most colorful of the African antelopes. Males and females both sport long spiraling horns covered by a blackish brown keratinous sheath. Bongos have rich chestnut coats, displaying a unique pattern of white stripes along its sides.
