While visiting other Community Sites and reading posts on designing you may have seen references made to a file's extension. A file's extension is usually a period and 3 letters that follow a filename. An example of a file extension is:
filename.zip
filename.rar
filename.ztd
When designing and editing files or just editing files in regards to Zoo Tycoon you will need to see these extensions.
To make an extension visable follow these simple steps:
1. Open windows explorer
2. Click on Tools
3. Click on Folder Options
4. Click on the View tab
5. Remove the check in the box beside " Hide extensions for known file types
6. Click OK
You will now be able to see a file's extension.
