Description: Part of the Roc Pack (http://www.ztcdd.org/DD/index.php?topic=5237.0)
The roc (also known as the rukh) is a mythical bird that resembles an enormous eagle. The roc is so large and strong that it is able to lift adult elephants off of the ground, then send them back to earth to their deaths.
Tales of rocs have been described in both the writings of Marco Polo and the voyages of Sinbad.
The savannah roc is the smallest of the rocs and can be seen soaring above the East African plains.
