Description: The wildcat species have one of the widest distributions of all cats. Their coloration and habitats vary considerably. There is much debate over the number of species and subspecies. Generally, the wildcat is split into 3 main groups: The Asian Wildcat, the European Wildcat, and the African Wildcat.
