Description: Practically nothing is known about the Bornean Bay Cat, its description resting just on a few skins and skulls, mostly collected in the 1880's. The last time one was studied was in 1992, when trappers brought a Bay Cat on the verge of death to the Sarawak museum. She weighed 1.95 kg, but was estimated to have weighed between 3-4 kg when healthy. No observations of the Bay Cat's behavior have been made since 1893.
