Description: Paraceratherium transouralicum, also know as Indricotherium, meaning "indrik beast" (the indrik is a fabulous mythological animal in Russian folklore with one horn, like a unicorn).Is a peryssodacty animal type, with an 3 ungules in their tackle. Dietary type is herbicotous, browsing on upper branches of deciduous trees. Is related with living rhinos, horses and tapirs. The largest males were 4.5m at the shoulder, weighing 15 tonnes (females around 12 tonnes).
