Description: The outcome of breeding a male Lion and a female Tiger. The Liger is the biggest cat. It bears a mane and also faint stripes. They however are sterile which means they cannot reproduce. These animals will add interest to any zoo.

Liger
A liger is the result of breeding a male lion with a female tiger. It has
stripes and spots. The spots are inherited from the lion parent even though
adult lions do not appear to be spotted.
