Description: The South China Tiger is the smallest of the tiger subspecies. It is also the rarest. Only 67 remain- 49 in captivity and 20 in the wild. In the 1940's there were thousands of them in the wild. Then the Chinese Government said they where a pest and today there are few left. In fact, there are none outside of China. People love them because they are so rare. The species won't be around in ten years, so buy some today!! These animals provide interest to any zoo.
