Bridled Nailtail Wallaby

This member of the kangaroo family gets its name from a horny spur on the end
of its tail. It is silky gray, about 17.7 to 23.6 inches in length with a 13.7
to 19.7 inch tail, and it weighs about 11 lb. During the day this solitary
animal rests in a shallow depression under a shrub, small tree, or log; at
night it feeds on a variety of grasses and forbs. Dingoes are their primary
predators.
