Description: Classified Stenella longirostris in 1828 - the specific name referring to this species' long snout. This species is found in tropical and subtropical waters worldwide. There are no subspecies, but there are four distinct Eastern Pacific forms: the Eastern, the Whitebelly, the Costa Rican and the Hawaiian.

Since these dolphins prefer to feed at night, you will notice that they do not complain about being hungry as much as the bottlenose dolphins that ship with the game. The spinner dolphin is also happy to share an exhibit with most other marine creatures, except for the sharks of course.
