Maltese Tiger

Although unconfirmed by photographic evidence, there have been various
reports of blue tigers in China's Fujian Provence. The most famous of these
sightings was by American missionary Harry R. Caldwell in 1910. Someone
pointed out to him a tiger, but Cadwell at first thought it was a man dressed
in blue. Then it lifted its head and he saw clearly that it was in fact a
tiger. He raised his gun to shoot, but claims several children were in the
way, and by the time he had changed his position, the tiger was gone. Various
other people have also reported seeing blue tigers in China and Korea.
