Description: The golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos) is a large eagle native to the northern hemisphere.
The eagle is named for the golden feathers on the head and neck. There are 6 recognized subspecies of golden eagle based on geographic location, size, and plumage. The Altai Mountains of Central Asia are home to one subspecies of golden eagle (A.c. kamtschatica).

Altai Golden Eagle

The golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos) is a large eagle native to the northern
