Description: The blackbuck is a delicate and graceful antelope native to the plains of India and Pakistan. These animals derive their name from the distinctive dark coloring taken on by dominant males upon reaching maturity. Females and immature males are tawn-colored. Both genders have white bellies, white chins, and white rings surrounding their eyes.
