Description:  Very little is known about this small cat. It is the smallest cat in the Americas, weighing about 6 lbs. It resembles the Geoffroy's cat and may be a subspecies of this cat. It's range is limited to Chile and Argentina. It is thought to be nocturnal. No information is known about its numbers, but due to habitat destruction, it is protected in its range.
