Description: The Great Plains wolf (Canis lupus nubilus) is a subspecies of gray wolf that used to roam the central grasslands of North America. This wolf, also known as the buffalo wolf, was thought to be extinct, but currently the wolves of Michigan, and Minnesota are considered to be members of the subspecies.

Great Plains Wolf

The Great Plains wolf (Canis lupus nubilus) is a subspecies of gray wolf that
used to roam the central grasslands of North America.  This wolf, also known
