Description: The Hamadryas baboon is found in Ethiopia, Somalia, Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Females weigh 10-15 kg, and have a brown fur without mane. Males are much larger, weighing 20-30 kg, and have a silvery-grey mane and very large canines. Both genders show a reddish-pink face and behind. The body can reach a length of 60-75 cm, the tail measures 60-70 cm. Height at the shoulder is 40-60 cm .These animals will add interest to any zoo.
