I recently reinstalled zoo tycoon cc and it didn't update, via the internet; it said "no updates available". The list you have here for download at zoo admin is what I'm talking about.
I guess that I should have tried the update in the game after installing  zoo tycoon and before installing the mm and dd versions on disk 2. Or the game is so old now that the update site has been deleted. Do these BlueFang update go in the regular zoo tycoon folder or do some go in the updates folder? Thanks for the help.

When ZT2 came out, MS changed the official website so that it went to ZT2 instead of ZT. That is why it would show "no updates available". However, the only thing it would have shown that does not come with CC is a U.S. Flag. But supposedly that version of the U.S. Flag did not have the rotation positions properly adjusted. So you would want the user fixed version of that anyway.

With CC, you should put any downloaded ".ztd" in the dlupdate folder. I feel a separate folder should be created for hacks, since some hacks affect user made things as well as official things. But using new folders would involve having to edit the zoo.ini file. So until there are instructions on how to do that, the dlupdate folder can be used for now.

Thanks Jay. After posting my question, I noticed that all the updates I was talking about were actually in my updates folder anyway. I'm certain that 2 years ago when I installed zoo tycoon cc that the in game "check for updates" internet did download some files. Maybe I'm getting to old.
