Cu Sith

The fearsome Cu Sith [coo-shee] roamed the Scottish Highlands. He was
described as an enormous, shaggy, dark green hound. It had a braided tail and
feet as large a an adult man's.The Cu Sith was controlled by and belonged to
the Faeries. But it was different from the ordinary white bodied, red-eared
Faery hounds.

It only bayed three times when hunting. The footprints
found in mud or snow show the tracks going in a straight line across the
countryside. However, it is said that the Cu Sith glides silently, never
making a sound. Except for its deep baying that can be heard through the dark
moors.

                                                                      The Cu
Sith's purpose is to go in search of human woman to drive into the Faery
mounds, where they will become nursemaids for the Faery children.
