Avatar Rules

Avatars may not be larger than 125 x 125 pixels.

The avatar formats allowed on this board are: jpg, gif, png, bmp. If you have a choice, jpg will usually make the smallest file. Smaller files help forum screens appear faster for people on dialup.

The image size may not be larger than 40 KB.

If you use a link to an image that is on another web site, it must be a web site that either you own or that you have permission to link to from other web sites. Otherwise it would be considered a form of stealing, which would be a very serious issue.

Any avatars that do not meet these rule requirements will be removed and a warning PM will be sent.

How to add an avatar

Click on "PROFILE" in the menu near the top of the window. When your profile is shown, click "Forum Profile Information" in the menu on the left. You can then choose a "Personalized Picture", or provide a link to an external image, or upload an image of your own by clicking Browse and finding it on your computer. In any case, click "Change profile" to have the choice saved in your profile.
