Saichania

     Saichania chulsanensis was a large Mongolian ankylosaurid closely related
to Ankylosaurus.  Named after 'Saichan-tue',the name of a mountain range in
Gobi Desert , it is pronounced siy-KAHN-ee-ah and means beautiful in Mogolian.
The name Saichania  refers to the beautifully preserved bones of one
fossil--not to the appearance of the animal itself.  The name is also
distinctive because, unlike most dinosaur names, it does not come from Latin
and Greek but from Mongolian, the language of the country where Saichania was
found.
