Description : Morotopithecus bishopi was an early species of ape.
The fossils of this large-bodied ape were found in Miocene strata in Uganda. The fossils show some of the earliest indications of ape-like locomotion.

Morotopithecus bishopi

Morotopithecus bishopi was an early species of ape.  The fossils of this
large-bodied ape were found in Miocene strata in Uganda.  The fossils show
