Description: Equus burchelli antiquorum, the Damara's zebra is an rare subspecies of the plains zebra found only in Nambia, in actual times. The body, white, with blackish brown stripes is brighter in comparison to the plains zebra's body. Weight is 250-300 kg. Plains zebra also have other subspecies, including the extinct quagga (Equus burchelli quagga). Damaras zebra habitat is the savannahs and grasslands of Nambia. Predators are lions and hyenas.
