Description: The Golden Jackal lives in Africa and will eat almost anything. They don't really live in a shelter unless they can find a deserted warthog burrow. Have fun with the Golden Jackal!. These animals will add interest to any zoo.

Golden Jackal

The golden jackal is an oppertunistic eater, they will eat any type of meat
wheather it be carion, rodents or other animals.  They live on the African
savannah with the big cats and hyenas.  They are quite frequentlly seen around
the kills made by lions.  If the lions get a chance to kill these jackels they
will in an instant.
