Description: The Lowland Anoa (Anoa depressicornis) is the world's smallest species of cattle. It also has a reputation as one of the most aggressive. It is found only on the South East Asian island of Sulawesi (formerly Celebes), where, together with the Mountain Anoa, it is the largest land animal. Loss of habitat has put both species in danger of extinction. This animal will add interest to any zoo.
