Description: Syntarsus was a small carnivore. It was about the length of a small car. This is a recolor of Caudipteryx. It is compatible with Ankylosaurus, and needs a very similar exhibit to it.

Syntarsus

Syntarsus was a speedy, small dinosaur. Syntarsus was about the length of a
small car, and had a long neck and tail. It fed on insects, lizards and small
mammals. Syntarsus ran quickly on its long back legs to catch its prey and
escape from larger carnivores. Syntarsus had long arms ending in long hands
with curved claws. Its tail was held up level with its body when moving at
speed. Some scientists believe that Syntarsus had feathers on its head and
body. They think that it lifted them away from its body to let the air cool it
down during the heat of the day. It also would have used them to keep in the
warmth at night.
